Synopsis |
‘Secret Ingredient’ is the first feature film by the Macedonian director Gjorche Stavreski.
Vele is an underpaid train mechanic who uses stolen marijuana to make a cake for his father to relieve his cancer pain. He suddenly finds himself cornered by the criminals who look for their drugs and the nosy neighbors who want the recipe for the “healing” cake. The film was selected for the official First Features competition of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival 2017. It won the Audience Award for the Best Film at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival. |
