About the festival

The 23rd Annual Rochester International Film Festival presented 30+ high quality international and Minnesota-made films which we selected from top current films not on the commercial theater circuit.

The festival offers southeastern Minnesota audiences a unique chance to experience the latest in world cinema, including some which have received awards or recognition in other international film festivals. The festival included several family-friendly movies which are enjoyed by audiences of all ages who love movies and want to watch them together in a theater setting.  We had filmmakers and special panels to speak to our enthusiastic audiences after film screenings.

We believe the Rochester International Film Festival broadens an audience's experience of film art as well as well as knowledge and appreciation of the world and its people.
